The purpose of the Gulf Coast Consortium for Protein Crystallography is to foster excellent cross-disciplinary research and education in the field of protein crystallography. The GCC for Protein Crystallography maintains an X-ray beamline at the Louisiana State University synchrotron that is a key resource for modern crystallography in the Gulf Coast Area. The GCPCC beamline serves as a regional research and training facility. It will accelerate the solution of new structures by providing improved access to a MAD capable synchrotron radiation beamline.
